GDG continues to be a proponent for local communities around the Randsburg area.

In addition to hiring locally, the team ensures they buy local parts and services where possible, lodge locally where possible, and engage in community activities.

Examples of this include GDG, including the Tucker Family, volunteering time and resources to weed and clean up the local cemetery, engage with the local history museum, and participate in local events like the annual Randsburg Western Days.

GDG also supports the local Trona High School Shooting Club.

GDG workers will clean up the 4-mile stretch on U.S. Hwy 395 from Red Mountain past Johannesburg multiple times per year.
